Connect Search Console
Bring authorised search-performance data into a project.
01Check the prerequisites
You need a verified workspace project and access to its Google Search Console property. The server administrator must configure Google OAuth credentials and the correct callback URL before connection can work.
02Choose the property
Use sc-domain:example.com for a domain property, or the supported HTTPS URL-prefix property for that domain. Choose the property that matches the website you are tracking.
03Authorise your Google account
Use Connect Google Search Console in the project and review the permissions presented by Google. The connection should not be advertised as ready until the OAuth flow has been tested with the deployed domain.
04Let the scheduled sync collect history
The sync job imports available Search Analytics metrics. A connected account does not mean the first sync has completed. Check job errors if the history remains empty.
05Interpret position correctly
The metric is Search Console average position for the available query data. It is not a live, location-specific rank-check result. Blank data should remain unknown rather than being reported as zero.
Deployment note: this public UI update does not complete outstanding billing, crawler or account-service certification.
